WELCOME to Effective Aid

According to UNICEF, 30 000 children die each day due to poverty... they 'die quietly in some of the poorest villages on Earth, far removed from the scrutiny and conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes the dying multitudes even more invisible in death.'

Effective Aid International is a non-profit, Australian based, International Humanitarian Aid Organization. Our current area of focus is South East Asia, with projects mainly focusing on assisting people affected by the on-going humanitarian crisis in Burma. We also direct assistance towards the abandoned or orphaned children in North Thailand.

Our Purpose:
  • To alleviate poverty, suffering and distress,
  • To provide food, clothing, shelter, health care and education to people in crisis in the world’s developing countries,
  • Protection and/or removal from danger for those in immediate crisis,
  • Leadership development through practical programs provided to people in key positions within society in developing nations,
  • Provision of education to young people who are denied this right by reason of political instability, poverty or lack of opportunity.
The organization is approved by the Australian Tax Office, and for Australian citizens all donations over $2 into our approved projects are tax deductible.

For USA residents tax benefits are available to donors through our partner organization, Bibleway Inc. Details for donation can be viewed on the Donations page on this website.

Donations however, are welcomed from all who have the desire to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in our global community.
